Control of the mind is an ideal we all like to believe we have, but we don’t. Think back over the past day. There have undoubtedly been at least several moments where an external factor has made an impact on how you feel or how you act. Stress. Anxiety. Fear. You are not in control, and never will be until you reach peach. Happiness is truly achievable, but only once you conquer the conditioning imposed on you by society. Society has caused your mind to fluctuate from reality. By training in meditation, we can create an inner space of clarity within ourselves, regardless of the circumstances of life. We must reach the equilibrium of happiness – to be happy all of the time, not unbalanced and fluctuating between extreme happiness and devastating sadness. 

We must eradicate ourselves from the deluded belief that material gain can make us happy. We must eradicate all delusions that cause us sadness and suffering. We must liberate ourselves from the shackles of society.


By practicing meditation frequently, we can begin to rid ourselves from distracting thoughts – negativities will subside and we will be able to experience a sense of happiness and peace on a level not like anything we’ve experienced before. Our mind will become lucid. We will feel fresher, healthier and calmer. Murky waters become clear.
