 1 cup boiling water

1 8 - ounce carton light dairy sour cream

 1 cup frozen light whipped dessert topping, thawed

1/2 cup frozen light whipped dessert topping, thawed (optional)

lime peel curls or lime slices (optional)

Directions

In a bowl that is large enough, mix the gelatin and boiling water. Stir until gelatin dissolves. In the mixture, stir the lime juice and lime peel. Cool for approximately 10-15 minutes but do not let it set. Whip the sour cream into the mixture and then the 1 cup of dessert topping, mixing lightly. Transfer the mixture into six 6-8 ounce stemmed glasses and cover. Place in the refrigerator and allow them to chill for 2 hours or as long as 24 hours. Ensure that it is set. If you wish, you can garnish with the lime peel curls, lime slices and 1/2 cup of dessert topping.
