A typical intermittent fasting day will include eating between 2-5p.m for meal #1 and 5-9p.m for meal #2
Meal #1 2-3 eggs with ½ avocado and 8-10 olives; handful of almonds or walnuts; ½ sweet potato with 4-6oz of chicken and unlimited strips of green peppers.
Meal # 2 1- 1 ½ cups quinoa with ½ avocado and 3-5 oz. fish
Meal #1 Steak and Eggs- (3-5oz steak and 2 -3eggs with green pepper and spinach; carrots and pepper strips with hummus)
Meal #2 4-6oz Chicken w/ salad and ½ avocado; ½ cup mixed nuts
Meal #1 Layer two rye crisp breads with 1/4 avocado and sliced hard-boiled eggs make 5-6 of these; 1 cup low fat cottage cheese
Meal # 2 Apple and Chicken Curry- (Mix 1 Boneless chicken breast; ¼ cup coconut oil &chicken broth; 1 cubed apple and 1tsb of garlic/curry powder/ginger/olive oil) Cook ½-1 cup brown rice separately and mix together.
**Food substitutions for any day: whole wheat pretzels, baby shrimp, turkey bacon, black beans.
