I am Celtic by Elizabeth Beckett

The Story of Abathscantia and the Dragon Isles

I am Celtic is a remarkable adventure of a woman whose tribe left the sinking continent of Atlantis to eventually settle in the British Isles.

I am celtic

I Am Celtic is a story set in about 10,000 BCE and takes the reader from the destruction of Atlantis, to Egypt, across Northern Africa and the Mediterranean, and finally to the British Isles, specifically England. The story spans the lifetime of the beautiful but sensitive Solveigh, and follows her challenging journey of love, loss, adventure, and awakening.

I Am Celtic is both a narrative and an inspirational guide that takes the reader deep into the truth of that time in Earth’s history as well as exploring universal mystical and spiritual concepts about life. The story sets out to transform widely-held, but limiting, opinions of recorded history and aims to provide answers to certain unsolved human myths such as the global flood and destruction of Atlantis; the beginnings of the Egyptian empire and the pyramids; the inland sea of Northern Africa and Abathscantian settlements; the Dragon Isles (British Isles) and the Faerie People who lived in subterranean caves; the Colcotec tribe of Atlantis and the Celtic tribe of Britain.

Sales info:

I Am Celtic is a moderate seller with good reviews. It cannot be considered independently as a fantasy book but is really Visionary Fiction or Alternative History.

I currently have a Portuguese and a Spanish translator that I am working with and I am not accepting further offers for translations into these languages at this time because I need to give my current translators first option.

Sample text:

They had grown up in the hills and forests of their tribal lands

of Atlantis. They lived the furthest south and east of all the tribes,

and their people had been considered a little raw. This perception

was due to the fact that their tribe, the Colcotecs, were deeply

spiritual, family-oriented, and non-materialistic people. They

hadn’t indulged in the plunder of other continents and the excessive

experiments and sacrilegious cloning that had marked the

downfall of the continent. Solveigh remembered all the lies and

subterfuge that had masked the maniacal grasping for wealth and

control by those in power. She remembered the giant infrastructure

and robots designed to impress and confuse everybody into

believing in the false might of the governors. Ironically, it was the

terrible creaking and crashing of these metallic monstrosities that

she could most distinctly remember at the end. As their ship had

moved north past the east side of the sinking continent, the collapse

of metal structures was terrifying but not surprising. No matter

how great humankind’s creations, they could never equal the

true strength of nature and mother Earth.

The Colcotecs had tried hard to change the misguided power

structures that had underpinned the continent. Eventually, her

people’s leaders had realized the futility of their advice and had

commissioned the master mariner Noa to proceed with the vessel

that would take them to safety. The Colcotecs’ seers and sages

had warned that the destruction of the continent was imminent

and had held several secret meetings with other tribes intending

to leave.
