Girl's Night Out by Charlie Daye

They had a routine...

Girl's night out

Every weekend they hit their usual hotspot, Club Sapphire. They ordered the same drinks anda hung out with the same people. Wanting something different, Courtney convinces Ariana to try a new club down in the warehouse district. It was private and by invitation only, for good reason. After sneaking in, they have the best night of their life. If only they could remember what happened last Friday night.

They walked around to the back of the building and spotted a small open window. “That’s our way in,” Courtney pointed out. “The question, though, is how do we get up there?” The window stood about twelve feet up from their current position.

Ariana looked around the alley and found a couple of pallets and crates and began stacking them under the window. When she was done, she said, “We climb.”

            “In stilettos?” Courtney asked surprised.

“Hey, this was your idea. Now get your ass up the makeshift ladder before I decide to head back to Sapphire’s without you.”

Grumbling, Courtney started making her way up the shaky makeshift ladder. Once she reached the top, it put her chest level with the bottom of the window. “It’s a bathroom.”

“Perfect. I just hope it’s the women’s bathroom and not the men’s.”

“Yeah me too,” Courtney replied, pushing the window further up. “Wish me luck!” she said, hoisting herself up and over the rim of the window.

“Good luck!” Ariana replied before laughing at the sight of Courtney’s legs being the only things hanging out the window.
