Sample text:

Day Five-Partner Up

Sometimes motivation slips so you need someone to be accountable to. Find someone else who is also chasing a goal. Check in with one another and exchange thoughts on what’s working and what’s not. Make sure the person you choose as your accountability partner is the type who pushes you onwards, even on the days you plead that you need to quit. (And make sure you do the same for them).

Day Six-Avoid Shiny Object Syndrome

Promise yourself that you won’t get sidetracked pursuing another goal…well, not until you’ve achieved this first one. They are lots of shiny objects out there that can catch our attention (steal our time and focus). They’re the reason most of us never get anything done. Pick just one and only one goal at a time.

Day Seven-Get Rid of Distractions

We all get distracted, but find out what your distraction Achilles’ heel is. Could it be that you’re watching too much TV, playing online games non-stop every weekend, or going out every night with friends. Don’t deprive yourself to the point that life isn’t fun any more because that’s a sure way to fail. Instead, work on something that puts you closer to your goal and then do your usual favorite thing. Just remember to schedule the goal task before it.
