Chapter Three – Back at Ox Bow

Sadie Jo had no idea what Cotton wanted to talk about, but she felt good now that Ryan had apologized. Now, if she could just get in his pants, or Cotton's, or even better, both. Wouldn't that be somethin', being taken by two lip smackin' cowboys.

When they arrived back at the Oxbow, Sadie Jo heard the music clear inside Bella's SUV. Jumping out, they sidestepped two rowdy cowboys who tried to grab them, and laughing, strode up to the saloon entrance. When Sadie opened the door a cloud of smoke, a blast of music and the odor of sweat, beer and alcohol overwhelmed her senses. As they stepped in and surveyed the softly-lit establishment, the place was warming up just fine.

On one side was the longest bar in Dallas County. On the other was the entrance to the game room where pool tables, assorted electronic games and two mechanical bulls were located. Straight ahead was the dance floor where about fifty whooping dancers were shaking and jumping as the band, The Renegades, on the bandstand in back played Alan Jackson’s, Good Time. Right and left of the dance floor were tables, chairs and booths for the patrons. Approaching the dance floor, Bella pointed to a large booth in the corner. "They're over there." As they started to head over there, Hector then Cotton waved to them. "Oh, goody the Reynolds twins are there."

"You like them?"

"Is there a ranger in Texas? Of course I like them they're gorgeous." She stopped and grabbed her arm. "Wouldn't it be fun to stand them next to each other and…you know?"
