King sized Buttermilk Biscuits (Cheese – Blue)



How to prepare:

  1. Assemble all the ingredients at one place.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 to 310°F and put griddle in the middle of the oven.
  3. Now please whisk the dry ingredients together properly in a large or medium bowl.
  4. Cut the shortening into the dry ingredients. Whisk in the blue cheese and scallions.
  5. Now we can proceed to the next most important step.
  6. Make a well in the middle and now pour in 1 1⁄3 cups of buttermilk.
  7. One thing remains to be done now.
  8. Fold to combine. Divide the dough into twelve even balls and drop them on the hot griddle or may be skillet.
  9. Brush the surface of the biscuits with two tablespoons of buttermilk.
  10. Bake in the middle of the oven for twenty-two minutes, or maybe until they're golden brown. Now you can serve with butter while warm.
  11. Go ahead and eat it up.
