Bridge to Light and Love by Michael and Kathie Waters

One couples true story of spiritual healing and enlightenment

Bridge to light and love

Michael and Kathie Waters considered themselves average, everyday citizens-that is until a devastating illness swept them into an amazing journey that was anything but average. When an unexpected path unfolded before them, a strange turn of events propelled them into a surprising spiritual awareness. This newfound enlightenment changed everything they thought they knew or understood about the world, and as their bond with those beyond the veil strengthened, long forgotten information was revealed. Based on recollection and long-kept journals, the Bridge to Light and Love tells the Waters’ incredible story in a down-to-earth, honest way.

My husband went straight to bed, but I wasn't a bit tired, for some reason. I thought I would just put up my feet in the sitting room and meditate for a bit. My cat, Kitty, curled up on the chair across from me. He never was a lap cat, to my dismay. But he was our only pet since our beloved Murphy passed away ten years before. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed something had moved. The arched bay window before me that looks out into our back yard was gone. I couldn't see the usual white framework of the panes; it was just an empty black archway. Through this opening stepped a man. While I was vaguely surprised, I wasn't panicked or even nervous. No, I was actually pretty relaxed. I seem to recall thinking,
