When Pham Kim Dao returns back to Shanghai, China, from a trip to her home in Vietnam, she finds her best friend Thanh murdered. As both women are working as illegal prostitutes, the police does not seem to try hard to find the cruel killer. So Dao has to go her own way that brings here even deeper into the organized crime business of the mega city Shanghai.
