Be still

BE STILL is an inspirational book that brings to our mind that God still cares for his children in this world full of crises of faith and the economic melt down. As a result of the challenges of life, a lot of people are getting worried thinking whether they would survive it. God wants us to be still no matter the situation of the economy or the climatic changes. He knows that worry does not solve problems, but it creates more problems to people. He says that he is with us even till the old age, and Jesus says that he is also with us till the end which means he is still with us when the economy or climatic changes is unfavorable. The book reminds us that Jesus is our peace, and peace is not the absence of war, challenges of life and the likes but trusting God in the storm, unmoved by the things we see or hear, holding on to his Words no matter how long he takes to show up for us.

Once predictions fail, they become the paralysis of analyses, but guess what! God does not predict, he speaks. "Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven." (Psalm 119:89 KJV).

When God speaks, it goes with certainty and confirmation, but the predictions of the experts go with probability, and once any fails, it becomes the paralysis of the analysis. Has God spoken to you recently? Hold on, he will bring it to pass. "…for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” (Jere. 1:12 NIV).

 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and

 lean not on your own understanding;

 Prov. 3:5 NIV.

"Understanding," as used in this book could be seen as: one's enemy, Satan, intuitions, psychic, or a friend who is trying to discourage him from fulfilling his destiny. Now, is your understanding telling you that God does not love you, that even if he does, he would not allow you to be experiencing all these things you are facing now? That is a lie from the pit of hell.

Devil wants to use it to drag you away, and when you allow him to confuse and convince you that God does not love you, at that point in life you are ushering in self pity and hatred. Hatred for the things of God, but first, that hatred will start from you hating yourself, then your fellow human being which after, God.

Is your understanding telling you that you are not qualify? Or you are inferior, uneducated, too poor, a sinner, worthless and a wretched human being? Devil always hides at the back of your inferiority complex to use it to fight you, but in all these, Bible says “…Lean not in your own understanding”
