One may ask how you start with “A New Beginning” when your
life has been shattered and torn apart. How do you begin anew when
your world has been turned upside down, literally over night as was
true for me and my daughters back in May of 1995? How does one
respond emotionally and willingly to a horrific event that they had no
training or preparation for?
As we learn to appreciate life, our loved ones and friends, it is undeniable
that the circumstances that provide you with the greatest joy
will also cause you the greatest pain. This was the case in losing my
wife Jody so suddenly and witnessing the anguish and sadness of my
daughters in losing their mother. Jody was more than my wife and
the mother of my children, she was a true friend.
It is difficult for a person who has not experienced such a trauma

I hope this e-book will. There are counselors and psychologists who
specialize in loss and grief, who for many will prove to provide relief
and direction. Personally, I sought out both in hope of making sense
out of what seemed to be an unbelievable event.
