A Dragon's Destiny by Tina Glasneck

Begin the journey of magic and time in this fiery time-travel adventure.

A dragon's destiny

The Past...
In the kingdom of Keel, the Norse gods watched in horror.

Dragons unleashed to remove the threat of Ragnarok destroyed everything in their path. But one goddess, Freyja, offered a wager: all dragons would be captured except one.

She, the dragon shifter, would be exiled on earth until she was recalled to find her dragon other half, to then fight the battle between good and evil, determining the fate of the gods.

The Present...

Jaz has never fit in. Is it because she's a cop, a woman in a man's world? Or because any guy she's ever had feelings for has met with an accident? Now, the only romance she's having is in in the pages of her romance novels, and she's lonely.

There's a disconnect she just can't overcome.

Pursued by dreams in which, Erich, her roommate's hunky brother, appears as a Viking warrior, and confused by time-switches where she dies but is brought back to life, Jaz seeks psychic advice.

Her destiny is revealed: she's not of this world but another, a parallel place.

She's a Dragon who must return to where she belongs if she's to find the love and freedom she craves in the arms of a deadly handsome Viking.

Keel, in the year of the Great Fire

Dragons screeched and flew high in the blackened sky, as Keel burned in shades of orange, red, and blues. The mighty fire consumed everything in its path while the oceans settled into a great deep freeze.

The large creatures in varying shades laid claim to the heavens, sought to destroy all below. Trees burned, people screamed. The earth moaned and quaked as paths cracked and buildings crumbled under the creatures’ assault.

Gathered in the pantheon in Keel the gods watched in horror, for they had begun the promised destruction which would lead to Asgard’s gates.

“The end is beginning,” Odin whispered. His all-seeing eye watched every nuance of movement as the beasts continued their carnage.

A small gasp rippled through the attendees.

“Only one thing can be done to save us all,” Loki declared. “We must shutter them away. A deal is a deal.”

A deal that had stretched out for eons to remove the threat of Ragnarok—when the gods would die.

Desperation perfumed the air as the mighty considered their might to be less than omnipotent. What good was it to be a deity that could lose it all because of winged beasts?

“There must be another way? If you’d not tricked them, Loki, we would not be facing this scenario,” Odin declared.

“You hoped to coddle them instead of destroying them, as was right,” Loki said.
