Alkaline Lentil Salad

Yields Provided: 2-4

Essential Ingredients:

●       Celery (2 cups)

●       Raw sesame tahini (1 tbsp.)

●       Lentil sprouts (5 cups)

●       Bragg’s Aminos (3 tbsp.)

●       Red pepper (1)

●       Green onions with tops (2)

●       Fresh chives (2 tbsp.)

●       Raw almond butter (1 cup)

●       Olive oil (4 tbsp.)

●       Optional: Kelp (2 tsp.)

 

Method of Preparation:

Mince the celery, chives, and onions. Chop the red pepper. Soak the lentils overnight and thoroughly rinse before preparing.
For the dressing, blend the almond butter, olive oil, and alkaline water until smooth.
Split the lentil sprouts in a food processor or chop finely by hand. Toss into a large salad bowl.
Add all of the other ingredients, adding the almond butter mixture on the top.
Note: Stir the mixture well. Chill for several hours before serving.
